Brow Lamination is taking over the beauty industry much like Lash Lifts. I have tested every product in the industry and use 4 brands of Brow Lamination products to achieve the best possible results for my clients. All brow lamination comes with a complimentary Keratin treatment.

MICROBLADING & OMBRE BROW SERVICES

For those searching for a more permanent solution to sparse and barely there brows, Microblading & Ombre Brows, offer clients and low maintenance option to fully brows.  I have trained with Phi Brows, Tina Davis and Brow Beaute in an effort to bring my clients the very best in technique that creates the most natural results.  All Microblading & Ombre Brow Services are carried out with top quality pigments and tools to ensure the very best outcome for your Microblading & Ombre Brow service.  *Please note: I only work on virgin brows or brow work that was previously done by me. BEAUTY MARKS & FRECKLES

A credit card is required at the time of booking regardless of the booking method (ex. online, email, phone to in person, this is standard for salons).  You will be able to cancel your appointment up to 5 days prior to your scheduled appointment date. If you cancel your appointment after this 5 day window you will be charged 100% of the service price, however, you will have 30 days to use this credit on any service.  This credit is not applicable to retail items.

I do not offer refunds or complimentary services on any service done by myself.  I am not responsible for work once it leaves my space, if an issue arises it must be addressed at the time of the appointment.

BROW SHAPING

Q. As a first time client I’m a bit nervous about getting my brows done because I’ve had my brows butchered when I was younger, what’s your process?

A. All first time clients get an in-depth consultation when they arrive at the studio and specific time is allotted so we aren’t rushed. Trying a new brow artist can be scary especially when you’ve had a bad experience so I make sure to make you a part of the process every step of the way. Please note that I have done upwards of 5K brow shaping services in Toronto and it is my mission to provide the best possible brow shaping outcome.

Q. What type of wax do you use during your brow shaping?

A. I use a variety of wax types, 4 in total. This is to ensure that I can offer the very best results for my unique client base. When you book your appointment you will receive a pre-assessment consultation form that you fill out and send back prior to your appointment. As a result, I will already have a good idea of your brow shaping history, skin type and your expectations - this allows me to prepare ahead of time.

Q. Do you offer Brow Threading?

A. No, I don not offer Brow Threading. I carry out my Brow Shaping appointments using a wax & tweezing combo, this I find gives me the cleanest lines and ensures the very best outcome.

Q. Do you do brow mapping?

A. Yes, I developed my own mapping technique. My mapping doesn’t look like what you see on instagram, mine is much simpler, more efficient and works best for my clients.

Q. How long does the appointment last?

A. For first time Brow Shaping appointments you can expect to be here for 30 - 40 mins. I like for a relaxed environment and don’t like to rush. If you are a return client and are booking a brow maintenance appointment, you can expect to be here 15 - 25 mins.

Q. How long does waxing last?

A. The answer is different for each person because the rate of hair growth is unique. Some people can go for 6-8 wks in between Brow Shaping’s others can only go for 2 wks. The medium hair growth time is 3.5 wks in between brow shaping appointments.

Q. Can waxing cause skin irritation?

A. In most cases you should expect slight redness after a brow shaping service. However, the wax used in studio is high quality and rarely irritation goes beyond that. Due to the in-depth nature of my consultations I can usually spot any problematic skin issues prior to brow shaping. As a result I will adjust the wax types to fit your unique needs to avoid any issues.

Q. Does waxing hurt?

A. You can expect some level of discomfort with Brow Shaping but it is minor and temporary. Keeping up a consistent brow waxing routine will eventually result in a decreased sensations.

Q. What aftercare is required when I get a Brow Shaping?

A. It is important that you do not tweeze, trim or wax your Brows on your own in-between your Brow Shaping appointments. This is to ensure that you maintain a growth cycle for the cleanest results at your next appointment. If you have received a brow tint or hanna it is important to not use oil based removers to ensure long lasting.

BROW TINTING

Q. What is the difference between Brow Tinting and Brow Henna?

A. Gel based tinting is moisturizing and with certain brands the actually have a henna effect. Gel tints can be uses in conjunction with brow lamination where henna cannot because the process is drying. Brow henna stains your skin.

Q. Why would I tint my brows?

A. Tinting is a great way to add depth and fullness to brow hair while maintaining a natural but elevated appearance. It also takes time out of your morning routine giving you a filled in look.

Q. What type of brow tint do you use?

A. I carry 3 brands of brow tinting products that I love to work with, all tints are gel based, vegan friendly and hypo-allergenic. I have worked with every brand of brow tint in the industry and these 3 brands offer the best results, in regards to colour and lasting power. I like to work with a variety of colour ranges so I can easily mix a customized tint that matches your skin tone and natural hair colour.

Q. How long does brow tinting last?

A. Lasting time varies from person to person, the type of brow hair I’m working with and the base. Lasting time also depends on skin type and can vary depending on natural dryness and oily aspect of skin. Typically, brow tinting last for anywhere between 2.5 to 3.5 weeks and will gradually fade over this period. If you would like long lasting results I recommend brow henna.

Q. Can eyebrow tinting cause damage?

A. Brow tinting is a very safe process; the products I use in studio are moisturizing and do not dry out the brow hair like some brands can depending on the brow hair. In regards to skin allergy a patch test can be carried out for first time clients. As mentioned above, all products I use in studio are hypoallergenic, plant based and vegan friendly.

Q. Is it safe to tint brows when you have a brow lamination treatment?

A. Yes, it is the safest mode of adding colour to your brows.

Q. How do I care for my brow tint to ensure lasting results?

A. It is important to follow the aftercare instruction that I give you at the time of service to maintain the best possible results and lasting period. Please do avoid all saunas, steam rooms, tanning beds and exercise after your brow tinting service. It is also recommend to avoid wetting the brow area for 24 hrs post treatment. BROW HENNA

Q. What is brow henna?

A. Brow Henna is a natural alternative to brow tinting and has been used to colour brows for centuries. Brow henna is a good choice for people with old permanent makeup.

Q. What is the difference between brow henna and a brow tint?

A. Regular eyebrow tint will only tint the hairs and lasts anywhere from 2-4 weeks. Henna brows produce longer lasting results. Lasting up to 6 weeks on the hairs, it also tints the skin which is great if you would like a better shape to your brows.

Q. Why do you not have an option for brow lamination with henna, I see that you have the option to tint your brows?

A. Brow Henna should not be used during the brow lamination process because both brow lamination and brow hanna can be drying to your natural hairs. I want to promote healthy brows with long lasting effects. I want your brows to thrive and maintain a thick and rich appearance.

Q. What is Brow Lamination?

A. Brow lamination is like a lash lift but for your brows. It’s a chemical process that relaxes your brow hair and lifts your existing brow hair giving them a fuller fluffy appearance. Brow lamination is ideal for those looking for a natural, thicker appearance.

Q. What is the aftercare for Brow Lamination?

A. Please keep the brow area dry for 24 hrs after your brow lamination service. Avoid rubbing the brow area during this period of time because it can push the brow hair out of place as it will distort the shape of the brow hair and might set wrong. Do not shower, swim, use tanning beds or saunas during the 24 hrs period. This is essential for long terms results. For 3 days after your treatment avoid Please avoid all AHA’s or other chemical exfoliates that night be part of your regular skincare regime. A gentle facial cleanser and oil free makeup remover is recommend to remove dirt and makeup.

Q. How long does Brow Lamination last?

A. Brow lamination lasts anywhere from 3-5 weeks depending on aftercare and natural hair growth.

Q. Is Brow Lamination safe?

A. Yes. It’s very safe. I use a variety of brow lamination brands in my studio to ensure that the product I use is the right fit for your brow hair. I also complete each brow lamination treatment with and enriching keratin treatments that promotes moisture and hair growth.

Q. Can you get a Brow Tint with Brow Lamination?

A. Yes. I use a specific brow tint when I do brow lamination. It’s gel based and enriching.

A. No. The two services should never be done together because both are on the drying
